Kenzie’s approach to therapy is genuine and affirming. Utilizing a variety of interventions and techniques, Kenzie uses an eclectic blend of modalities to create an individualized approach including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She believes the therapy process is collaborative and judgment-free, which fosters a therapeutic alliance to help you reach your goals. Kenzie is passionate about working with preteens, teens and adults through a wide variety of relationship and personal struggles to improve mental wellness. Kenzie also works with families. She has a strong interest in affirmative therapy and is a proud LGBTQIA+ ally.
Kenzie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Science in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Walden University. During her internship experience, Kenzie had the opportunity to work with kids ages 5-19 who were in crisis, ranging from suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, OCD, self-harm, transition, coming out to parents, foster placements, rage, and more. The experience was life changing and affirming- this is her calling.
Kenzie has been married for 11 years and together, she and her husband have 4 incredible kids. She looks forward to using her education and passion for mental wellness to walk with you as you achieve your goals.
